Inhalt: Foot problems are similar around the world. The approach to care tends not to be. In this seminar, using a common foot problem as an example, there will be an opportunity to discuss similarities and differences in care with colleagues from different countries.

Über den Referenten: Kelly Robb has been practicing as a pedorthist since 2009. She is currently completing her PhD studies at Wilfrid Laurier University, in Waterloo, ON. Current research focuses on the connection between neuromechanics, mechanoreceptor facilitation, lower limb muscular activity and foot orthotics. Kelly’s long term goals are directed towards improving clinical practice and evidence-based treatment options for neuromuscular diseases. Kelly Robb is the current president of the Pedorthic Association of Canada. Michael Ryan is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Biomedical Physiology and Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University. He is a global leader in the role of footwear and injury risk in runners. He has published over 40 peer-reviewed articles in top journals in the fields of sports medicine, orthopedics and biomechanics. He is also Head of Product and Innovation at "Kintec  Footwear + Orthotics"
